Today’s lets bake: we made chouquettes !
Chouquettes are a delicious choux pastry puff, left unfilled , coated in pearl sugar.
They are best served warm, and you can get them in French bakeries by the dozen.
My favorite market day treat with my Mamie and sister growing up. (But really. Everyone in my family loves them!)
250 g water
Pinch of salt
Egg wash (one whole egg)
